Sunday December 12th potluck after church instead of December 19th.
The Christmas Cantata is changed from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday the 19th with refreshments afterward.

No men's breakfast for November or December (both Saturdays fall on holiday weekends)

We are still recycling cans for the youth. We are also collecting pop tabs. The pop tabs go to the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus to help defray the costs for people that cannot afford to pay.

Thursday October 21 7:00 at Stockport UMC bible study starts on the book of Mark

Fall Harvest party is also kicking off youth groups. We will have one for Kindergarten through 5th grade that will meet once a month & 6th through 12th grade that will meet weekly so invite anyone you think might be interested in the youth group too! Both groups will be meeting on Sundays.

October 8th-10th--Women's Time at Camp Otterbein Weekend Retreat. Check in is Friday evening at 6:00 and close with worship service on Sunday. Depart camp around 11:00 a.m. Fee is $70.00. Registration is due by September 25, 2010. If you are interested there will be information on the tables at church entrances.

Izaiah Conkel is 3 yrs. old and is being admitted to SOMC. He started vomiting and running a fever of 103, blood work was done and they found his WBC was extremely high. His CT scan showed enlarged lymph nodes in his groin area. The doctors said that is a sign of infection, but they haven't been able to find the infection yet.
